Protect Your Fine Art From Your Heating
It’s official, autumn is finally here and that means one thing, a drop in the temperature. Thankfully in the UK we are blessed with a wide range of heating options including central heating, electric fan heaters, oil heaters, traditional open fires and log burners to name just a few. However some of these heating options can prove devastating for your pieces of fine art.
When you constantly alter the temperature in your home by switching the heating on and off, you can cause artwork to expand and contract. Over time this can cause stress and your artwork will begin to deteriorate – paints will crack and begin to peel whilst canvases and wood will split.
The ideal solution is to keep your artwork at a constant temperature and humidity but this is not very practical in the home environment. At Cube Fine Art, we offer a state-of-the-art climate controlled storage facility that allows us to do just that.
